Daycare Teacher for grade school age

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood care and a genuine love for working with children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our students. Your role will involve planning engaging activities, ensuring the safety of the children, and fostering positive relationships with both students and their families.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and educational activities.
• Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their development.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Implement effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior among students.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a supportive learning community.
• Provide first aid as needed and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support children with special needs by adapting activities to meet individual requirements.
• Have safe driving record, Able to drive van and safely transport children from school and on special trips.

Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool-aged children or in childcare settings is preferred.
• A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques and child development principles.
• First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain if not currently certified.
• Experience in special education or working with children with diverse needs is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages learning and exploration.
