Job Overview
The primary responsibility is to plan and lead music for the traditional Sunday Worship service and rehearsing songs. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Worship Music Leader to guide our congregation in worship through music leadership. This role is essential in creating an engaging and uplifting worship experience that fosters community and spiritual growth. The Worship Music Leader will collaborate with the pastor and worship committee to inspire and uplift the congregation.
Responsible to: Lead Pastor and worship committee
Duties
- Lead instrumental and vocal worship services with enthusiasm and authenticity, ensuring a meaningful experience for all attendees Sunday mornings and some additional religious and holiday services including but not limited to Christmas Eve and Maundy Thursday.
· Coordinate with Lead Pastor and worship committee for the direction of music for the Worship service
- Select appropriate music that aligns with the themes of the service and enhances the overall worship experience.
- Communicate effectively with the pastor and worship committee as required to foster a collaborative environment.
- Be able to play either keyboard, piano, or acoustic guitar and sing
- Encourage participation from the congregation in worship through singing and/or other forms of expression.
Requirements
- Experience in leading worship services within a church or similar setting a plus.
- Ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent communication skills
- Musical proficiency in voice and instruments; familiarity with various musical styles is preferred.
- A deep understanding of scripture helps.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the ministry or congregation.
Qualifications:

· Guitar
