The Application Vulnerability Engineer will be co-responsible for the creation and ownership of a Vulnerability Remediation Program supporting all of the Enterprise Payments Technology organization. The program will include but is not limited to management/ownership of all Enterprise Payments vulnerabilities, identification through remediation. The vulnerabilities will be identified by the Enterprise Security team.

If hired in North Carolina, the base pay for this position is generally between $97,600 and $145,000. If hired in Arizona or Texas, the base pay for this position is generally between $107,300 and $157,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.

Responsibilities
- Monitoring - review application vulnerability reports generated by the enterprise vulnerability monitoring tool (Qualys) for applications managed within the Enterprise Payment Technology organization
- Remediation - lead the research of all vulnerabilities assigned to Enterprise Payment Platform application teams and partner with application owners/developers to complete remediation
- Documentation - ensure accurate documentation is captured and maintained for all vulnerabilities researched and remediate. Where possible, share/partner with other technology teams to improve the efficiency of vulnerability remediation
- Reporting - Produce advanced analytics and reporting based on research, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. May develop process enhancements based on analysis results.

- Information Security, various applications (Java and .Net),
- Servers (Windows and Linux)
- Databases (Microsoft SQL Server)
- Advanced Excel experience, including formulas, pivots, and charts
- Basic to advanced skills with other Windows tools
Preferred Skills - The ideal candidate will also have experience with the following tools:
- Brinqa Vulnerability Management tool
- PowerBI Reporting Tool
