What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Shipping and Receiving position at First City Staffing LLC?
First City Staffing is looking for a reliable and punctual candidate who enjoys fast paced warehouse work. You would need to be able to lift 50 pounds constantly.
Frequent tasks : Shipping :
Loads merchandise from a conveyor onto semi-trailer for shipment
Sorts and stacks cases onto pallets or conveyor by reading case labels
Receiving :
Unloads merchandise from semi-trailer to a conveyor
Inspects cartons of merchandise for damages
Audits product content prior to unloading merchandise
Minimum Requirements :
Must be 18 years old
Ability to work OT including extended hours, nights, weekend and holidays
Must be able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull and handle products up to 50 lbs occasionally and to 30 lbs frequently with or without a reasonable accommodation
Must be able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast paced environment
