Overview
The Assistant Service Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our automotive service department. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the automotive service team, ensuring all work is performed to company standards.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance and repair operations, including ambulance repair and remounting projects.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to assess the quality of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and parts necessary for automotive repair tasks.
- Provide technical guidance and support to mechanics in diagnosing and resolving complex vehicle issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of power tools and hand tools within the shop.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional development, and high performance.
- Maintain a clean and professional looking shop at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive service management or a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during service operations.
