Key Responsibilities

Assists with the assessment of physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients to determine appropriate treatment plans.

Implements individualized treatment plans, administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and managing therapeutic diets.

Responds to mental health crises using de-escalation techniques and standard emergency protocols.

Assists with medical or minor surgical procedures as requested.

Prepares clinical documentation, and communicates patient status to appropriate team members in a timely manner.

Ensures accurate medication counts and complies with policies regarding controlled substances and sharps.

Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment aligned with correctional healthcare standards.

Attends mandatory training and staff meetings.

Performs other duties as assigned to support FirstClass Healthcare’s goals, objectives and values.
