We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. Duties
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring it is clean and organized according to infection control protocols.
- Perform medical documentation accurately, including patient records and treatment plans.
- Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions.
- Assist with endodontic procedures as needed, demonstrating knowledge of relevant techniques.
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is preferred.
- Understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting.
- Ability to perform medical documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Experience in endodontics is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
