Role : Security Engineer – Big Data Location : Dallas, TX Hybrid Weekly 3 days) Visa Independent Only Work Description : To fulfill the need for Auto Legacy Shutdown program Business Knowledge : Specific responsibilities will include the following :
- Demonstrate independent initiative in applying in-depth knowledge of engineering tools, processes, applications, programming languages and environments to lead and execute on strategic software development with AWS and Data Modernization tools.
- In close collaboration with and at the direction of management, facilitate and lead assigned project work for the team.
- For assigned projects, facilitate team working sessions to plan, breakdown and assign work, size, estimate, road map delivery, and develop and implement effective stakeholder communications.
- Create and maintain project artifacts such as : scoping documents, project plans, road maps, timelines, stakeholder engagement plans, communication plans, issues, risks, and dependency management, and project communications.
- Strategize, plan for, and deliver efficient and effective project communications to stakeholders across all levels of the enterprise, from analysts to senior executives. Translating complex technical subject matter into relevant and meaningful messaging for different targeted audiences and stakeholders.
- Prioritize and work in the grey with limited direct supervision on highly complex assignments. Technical Skills : Minimum 8 years’ experience working with :
- Cloud development experience on AWS
- Designing / developing event driven solutions
- AWS Native services (All), especially Glue, Lambda, IAM and all the storage services like S3, Redshift, Aurora etc.
- Apache Spark
- DevOps (CI / CD pipelines)
- Infrastructure as code – Terraform
- Scala, Python and Node.js
- Relational DB – AWS
