JOB DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Catheterization Lab
- Assist with the insertion and removal of catheters
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide appropriate care
- Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment
- Follow aseptic technique to prevent infections
- Administer medications as directed by physicians
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families about procedures, pain management, and discharge planning
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license (Required)
- Experience working in a Catheterization Lab or similar setting (Required)
- Knowledge of ICD-9 coding and medical terminology
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
- Proficient in using medical imaging systems and equipment
- Ability to perform catheterization procedures with precision and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
