Basic Qualifications
Education/Training: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a minimum of two (2) years industry related work experience required.
Skill(s): Proficient in English, reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills; proficient organizational skills; working knowledge of credit analysis; proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office and ability to learn job-specific software.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ related experience required.
General Responsibilities
Responsible for performing various duties to support the Credit Administration Department; assisting in the coordination of work within the department, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information.
Essential Duties
- Assists in maintaining client and financial information files in accordance with established departmental guidelines.
- Assists in preparing and maintaining various reports.
- Assist in the coordination of and preparation of documentation for the Loan Committee and Loan section of Board meetings.
- Assists with loan approval and risk rating management for Credit Administration
- Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
- Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.
- Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate Bank personnel.
- Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other Bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
- Performs various administrative functions within the department, as may be assigned from time to time.
