Basic Qualifications
Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in Business or Accounting curriculum.
Skill(s): Proficient in English, reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills; proficient organizational and project
management skills; working knowledge of branch operations and electronic banking products and services; proficient PC skills including Microsoft Word and ability to learn job-specific
software.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ related experience required.
General Responsibilities
Responsible for performing various Electronic Banking functions; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the
immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information.
Essential Duties
- Performs various Electronic Banking functions of which the following are illustrative:
- Establish client access for ebanking services such as online banking profiles, mobile banking, remote deposit capture, wire transfer, bill pay, and Zelle.
- Process online banking account maintenance/changes: ensures accuracy and completeness.
- Supports retail staff and internal departments as needed; participates in training new employees as required.
- Provides online banking customer support through phone calls, chat, and customer emails.
- Perform daily review of debit card maintenance reports.
- Perform daily review of electronic banking exception reports.
- Assist with periodic reviews for ACH Origination online profiles.
- Monitor and process daily review of deposits through Source Capture Optimization (SCO) which includes Remote Deposit Capture, Mobile Capture, and ATM deposits
- Assists with various audits and regulatory exams; gathers requested materials and assists in preparing assigned schedules
- Perform any other electronic banking related duties as required or assigned.
- Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other
forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.
- Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
- Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness
and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.
- Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and
provides data to appropriate Bank personnel.
- Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other Bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
