Basic Qualifications

 Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in Business Administration or related field required.

 Skill(s): Proficient in English, reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills; proficient organizational skills; working knowledge of post-closing process and loan documentation requirements; proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office and ability to learn job-specific software; knowledge of LaserPro preferred; visual and auditory skills.

 Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of related experience required.

 General Responsibilities

 Responsible for performing various duties to support the post-closing process; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to Loan Closing Manager; responding to inquiries or requests for information.

 Essential Duties

 Performs various duties to support the post-closing process of which the following are illustrative:

  1.  Ensures timely delivery and accuracy of closing and collateral documents.
  2. Performs detailed post-closing review of closed loan packages to ensure compliance with Bank policies and federal regulations and guidelines.
  3. Resolves any deficiencies according to internal management standards.
  4. Communicates with loan officers, loan closers and attorneys to gather missing documentation.
  5. Scans and indexes post-closing checklists within loan operating system.
  6. Review, track and maintain tickler report pertaining to missing documents.
  7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Performs various duties to support the closing process which can include but shall not be limited to: commitment letters, document collection and organization to prepare for closings and processing tickets for third party reports.
  • Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
  • Reports pertinent information to Loan Closing Manager as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate Bank personnel.
  • Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other Bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
  • Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.
  • Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, i.e. - Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.
