What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fancy Farm Personal Banker position at First Community Bank of the Heartland?
General Function :
Perform all general Personal Banker duties including but not limited to cash handling, perform deposit and loan transactions via Nupoint Teller accurately and efficiently, open new accounts, assist customers with online banking and account error resolution and other duties as assigned.
Major Duties and Responsibilities :
- Greet all customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Open all new accounts accurately and efficiently according to regulation and bank policy
- Scan all new account documents in a timely manner
- Maintain a balanced and neat cash drawer
- Complete all deposits, withdrawals and payments accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service
- Maintain working knowledge of CSI's online applications
- Maintain working knowledge of proper compliance procedures in the deposit area
- Work night deposits and ATM deposits under dual control
- Direct and refer customers to appropriate bank department for service when necessary
- Complete holds to necessary customer deposits
- Complete Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) as necessary
- Keep all work areas neat and clean
- Research and resolve customer issues
- Assist in solving customer problems
- Refer and cross-sell products
- Accurate completion of required audit logs
- Adhere to all bank policies
- Ensure all necessary equipment is in working order including but not limited to drive-up equipment and ATM
- Oversee balancing and maintenance of the ATM
- Ensure all negotiables and confidential records in the teller / CSR area are properly secured each evening
- Answer branch phone calls promptly and deal with those calls accurately and in a professional manner
- Assist and participate in call branch and companywide campaigns and activities
- Commitment to the required community service hours within the guidelines of our FCB Gives program
- Adhere to FCB's First Focus, Mission Statement, and Vision Statement
- Answer all incoming calls with the FCB standard phone greeting : "Thank you for calling First Community Bank. This is (first name), how may I help you?"
- Attend all necessary staff training
- Attend all bank sponsored activities
- Attend civic activities and events
- Assist customers with all online and mobile banking issues and questions
- Accept yearly Safe Deposit Box payments
- Ensure all bank information and systems are protected
- Assist branch management and branch administrator with any other duties as assigned
