What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager Intern position at First Community Credit Union?
First Community Credit Union is offering a nine-week, full-time (40 hrs. /week) paid internship opportunity based in Houston, TX for an individual looking to pursue a career in Project Management. The internship begins 6/09/2025 and ends 8/08/2025. This individual will provide Project Management support to the Information Technology (IT) department on various projects. They will assist our project management sector with responsibilities that include working to enhance resource management, tracking projects and resources, project planning, as well as analyzing current Project Management procedures and making recommendations for greater efficiency.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to expand your project management knowledge by assisting in the creation of resource utilization planning, and other key areas of project planning. As you gain understanding, you will begin analyzing existing project management processes to determine their effectiveness through review and testing, and then provide recommendations for improvement. The successful individual will build an acumen for technology in regards to Project Management and Financial Institutions, methods and practices, and the ability to see the “big picture” of how Information Technology and efficient project completion can impact the success of the Credit Union.
Requirements:
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or graduate level degree in a Project Management or IT related field.
