Role and Responsibilities
- Accepts assignment with an individual, or team, of Loan Originators.
- May completes residential mortgage loan applications within assignment.
- Assists consumers in identifying proper residential mortgage loan products.
- Advertises and communicates to the general public the loan origination services.
- Complete all internal required continuing education courses assigned in the time they are due.
- Exercise proficiency with all technology requirements including, but not limited to: Encompass, Compensafe, FCM Knowledge Center, AUS systems, BAI Learning.
- Represent FCM, both ethically and professionally, with a positive attitude and demeanor. Provide superior customer service, while exemplifying FCM as the Lender of Choice in community.
- Uphold all internal and regulatory compliance guidelines, policies, and procedures, as hosted in the FCM Knowledge Center.
- Attend all required staff meetings.
- Report hours of work to management when due.
- Complete mandatory new employee orientation.
- Maintain requirements of the NMLS registration process.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned and dictated by workload and manager.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma/GED; 1-3 years’ experience in mortgage industry and familiarity of documents included in the loan credit package preferred.
Skills:
- Ability to effectively present information, both orally and written, and respond to questions from manager, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Excel and Word at beginner level. Able to send and receive emails.
- Able to use a calculator to calculate figures and amounts such as interests, commissions, percentages, and discounts.
- Able to multitask in a fastpaced environment, striving for 100% accuracy on every file.
- Able to keep records neat and organized to ensure clear representation of work.
- Able to adapt to change in the work environment and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Must be always professional with dress and actions.
Physical Demands:
- While performing duties, regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to sit and to use of hands or fingers to handle or feel.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities require close, distances, color and ability to focus.
