SUMMARY
First Community Mortgage is seeking a Corporate Recruiter with experience recruiting in mortgage operations to join our team.
In this role, you will partner with HR and hiring managers to define recruitment needs and identify recruitment strategies that align with the overall business strategy. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs.
- Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying pertinent details.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Consult with hiring managers to clearly identify expectations and qualifications needed (perform behavioral, competency and skillbased interviews)
- Proactively source candidates through networking, social media and other tactics to identify top talent to fill nationwide positions
- Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline of mortgage operations candidates to quickly fill multiple openings
- Utilize multiple recruiting channels and sourcing techniques to attract passive candidates and build talent pipelines for future hiring needs
- Evaluate candidates through resume screening and interview process to present a highly qualified candidate pool to hiring managers
- Work with candidates and HR on timely completion of application
- Maintain accurate data for applicant tracking
- Manage communication process between candidate, HR and hiring manager(s)
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR information
- Create a positive candidate experience for all applicants
- Will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement
- Must follow the FCM dress code and exhibit professional behavior when representing FCM.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred Business/HR/related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience in the mortgage industry
- Proven recruiting experience in a high volume, fast paced environment for recruiting needs.
SYSTEM/EQUIPMENT SKILLS
Ability to use Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook at a beginner level. Able to send and receive emails. Able to use a calculator to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages. Able to learn FCM’s internal database: Encompass.
ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, striving for 100% accuracy on every file. Must keep records neat and organized to ensure clear representation of work. This position requires a sense of urgency to restrictive time frames and deadlines.
