What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Project Manager position at First Community Mortgage?
Essential Job Duties:
- Provide support, onboarding, training and project management for FCMC
- Lead any major projects within Mortgage Division including new vendor additions and enhancing processes as directed by the President, FCMC
- Provide support, onboarding, training and project management for FCMC
- Develop, analyze and manage construction program to include lot and new build loans
- Distribute information to project team members and additional stakeholders, including progress reports
- Integrate planning tasks and identify resources needed
- Partner with Community Reinvestment Act Department to promote mortgage opportunities throughout the FCM footprint and the communities we serve
- Accountable for adherence to Federal and Local mortgage compliance and rules
- Responsible for onboarding of new employees including but not limited to introduction and integration into First Community Mortgage
- Provide training and new employee support
- This position may also serve as acting liaison between position locations and corporate management regarding office incidents, business needs, and client concerns.
- Travel as needed to meet business needs
- Other duties as assigned
Position level will be dependent upon internal and external experience
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a sitting and/or standing position for extended periods of time
- Requires ability to operate a computer and other office machinery
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Education Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- 5 or more years of recent mortgage experience
- Knowledge of VA, FHA and conventional mortgage loan programs
- Experience with SimpleNexus and Build software
- Knowledge of mortgage compliance rules and regulations including RESPA, HMDA, ECOA, FHA, TILA and TRID
- Ability to organize and prioritize
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment
