Job Description :
General Job duties. Types of procedures required.
3 years Intensive Care Experience
Equipment utilized in the unit / dept.
Meditech
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
3 years min ICU experience
Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required.
BLS, ACLS, HI license, NIH SS Cert (submit certification or take online 45 min class as part of orientation)
Shift or schedule requirements.
Night Shift - 36 hours weekly following first week of orientation.
3-12 hour shifts (36 hours) per week and 2-12 hour call shifts per 4 week roster period.
Floating to other units / departments.
When needed may float out to other critical care and step down units.
Bed size / number of rooms for this unit / dept.
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.

1 week orientation

- All Travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to start of assignment. This appointment will be scheduled at Hilo Employee Health and traveler must report. Please plan on having your traveler in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start so they can report to Employee Health Friday morning
