Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
To plan and provide for total patient care through the use of the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
To direct and guide patient teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Qualifications
Three 12-hour night shift per week. 6:00p - 6:30a. Every 3rd weekend plus Holiday rotation.
Pay period: Monday through Sunday.

Please note if the traveler accepts this offer, the agency must provide proof of the following Employment and Health Requirements no later than (5) FIVE business days prior to their contract start date. Failure to provide items in their entirety to Human Resources at JCHC could prevent the agency contractor from starting on the agreed-upon contract start date. Varicella-positive titer or 2 Varicella Vaccines
Polio
Hepatitis B Series, titer or signed declination
Current TDaP Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (dated within 10 years of start)
COVID-19 vaccine
Flu vaccination or signed JCHC exemption during Flu Season (Oct 1st March 31st)
Negative 2-step Mantoux (or QuantiFERON Gold) within 1 year of start
If Positive, must provide proof of positive & chest x-ray results
Proof of physical within 1 year of start date
10 Panel Drug Screen within 1 month of start date

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with current Iowa RN license
- BCLS, ACLS as indicated by the area of responsibility
- Experience preferred, but not required

- Online verification of licensure or certification to include expiration date and any disciplinary actions within 30 days of start date
- BLS & ACLS - Copy of both sides of the card through American Heart Association
- All copies of applicable certifications, i.e.: ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NRP
- Immunizations to include:

- Criminal Background (All states where they hold a professional license and have lived/worked in the past 7 years) within 30 days of start date

- GSA(EPLS) Sam.gov within 30 days of start date
- OIG-Date within 30 days of start date
- Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certificates (Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse)
- Completion of CareLearning education modules (further instructions will be provided by JCHC) Mandatory Reporter will be added to modules if the candidate is not certified. Must have completed prior to start.
