Job Description/General Duties
We are looking for a patient-focused, Medical Technologist to join our team. The Medical Technologist functions as a professional who assumes responsibility and accountability for the performance of clinical laboratory testing that pertains to patient care and diagnosis.
- Acquires and updates knowledge pertinent to policies, specimen collection, test procedures, and instrumentation.
- Demonstrates technical expertise necessary for accurate and reliable performance of testing in all applicable (chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, serology, blood banking and limited microbiology/molecular) areas of the laboratory.
- Performs patient, quality control, proficiency, quality assurance testing and required documentation processes timely and accurately.
Salary : $22 - $41
