Job
Summary
The
Radiographer, under the guidance of an Imaging Supervisor, performs diagnostic
radiologic examinations;
assists
physicians with radiologic procedures; prepares examinations for
interpretation; maintains radiation
safety; and assists with maintaining supplies.
Performs all duties and
responsibilities in accordance to the established FMC policies, procedures and
guidelines.
Job
Qualifications
Education: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology
from an AMA approved school.
Licensure/Certification: Registered by the American Registry of
Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Maintains
licensure requirements with the state of Ohio. Maintains annual CPR certification/When
Seconds Count
certification.
Experience: Previous staff radiographer experience
preferred.
Job-related Skills: Working knowledge of computer programs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish working relationships with internal and external customers. Strong organization skills. Critical thinking skills and the ability to
make independent decisions.
