What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rad Tech position at First Connect?

This position is to cover a paternity leave & RTO so the hours are varied by week. Outline of the schedule below
Week 1 Training: March 3-6 (7a-530p)
Week 2: March 9 (7a-530p), March 15-16 (7a-730p)
March 14-April 20: Fri-Sun 7a-730p
April 26-May 4: Fri-Sun 7p-730a
May 9-May 25: Fri-Sun 7a-730p
May 31-June 8: Tues-Fri 8p-630a
*** Need a candidate with a lot of experience and confident with their skills. They would need to really be on top of their game if they only have two years of experience as they will be working alone ***
Department: Radiology - U/S
General Certification Requirements (BLS) BLS, RDMS. OB certification would be helpful
How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 4 rooms. Two rooms for outpatient and two rooms for inpatient
Will they have to float/cover any other areas? No
Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties "Head and neck, whole body, some procedures
We do not do MSK or vascular"
Experience or 'Must have' skills Must have experience with head and neck scans and body scanning
Average # of scans/studies per day About 30-40 per 10 hour shift between 4 techs
EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EPIC and McKesson PACS
Department Specific Equipment (Client, Phillips, Siemens) Client and Phillips
Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Lead Tech
Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? Yes
Radiologist in-house? No radiologist in house on weekends or graves but there are several available by phone
Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) No
Holiday Requirements If they have an opening on a holiday they would ask but traveler can say no
Call or Standby requirement? No call
Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? Light blue scrubs- provided or can wear your own
