- How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: 3 CT rooms
- Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: X-ray if overnights and MRI if days
- Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Adults, geriatrics, and some Peds through the ER, CT biopsies, drains, aspirations, cryoablations, cervical injections, stroke angio studies with 3rd party processing, CTA coronary
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Prefer X-ray and MRI experience for day shift. Night shift MUST have CT/X-ray experience
- EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use: EMR: EPIC / PACS: McKesson
- Department Specific Equipment: Siemens CT scanners
- Shifts & Scheduling: mixed 9, 10, and 12 hour shifts- start time vary on shift, cyclic scheduling handled by supervisors
- Weekend Requirements: Every 4th weekend for day shift, every other for overnights
- Holiday Requirements: 2 holidays per year
- Call or Standby requirement? Response time?: Weekend call: once every 6 weeks / Weeknight call: 3-4 week nights per month when fully staffed, may be more if not fully staffed
- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: Approximately 3 days
