General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.): BLS
Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements:Registered Technologist Radiation therapy, WA state Medical Radiographer license
How many scanners/rooms does this department have?1 CT, 1 Varian Trubeam Linear Acellertor
Will they have to float/cover any other areas? No
Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: CT, SIM, treatments
Experience or 'Must have' skills:Trubeam experience preferred, 1 year of experience and ok with first time travelers
Average # of scans/studies per day: 2-4
EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use : Mosaiq, EPIC and Cerner is a plus
Department Specific Equipment (Client, Phillips, Siemens): Client
Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech: Thuy Han Supervisor, Lisa Anderson Lead therapist
Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No
Radiologist in-house? Yes
Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) No
Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 8 to 4:30 M-F
Weekend Requirements No

Call or Standby requirement? Response time? No
Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? Any professional colors
Department specific orientation On site training with other other therapists- 1 wk as I believe They may not be doing CT or Sims. If they will, it would be more orientation
