General Job Duties. Types Of Procedures Required.
Surg Tech for C-sections, assist with instruments during vaginal deliveries, light CNA work, (VS, trays, etc), cleaning instruments and transporting them to and from CPD.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
EPIC
Required Skills And Minimum Years Of Experience.
Basic surg tech skills. The surg tech will function as certified nurse assistant and OR tech to cover C-sections. Must have, or willing to get the UAP/Technician Registration (Unlicensed Assistive Person) with the ND State Board of Nursing.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
BLS, Certified Surgical Technician - National certification, preferred, but not required.
Shift or schedule requirements.
12 hour day/night, rotating into weekends.
Floating to over units/departments.
Some CST work in Nursery/NICU related to intstruments there
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
