POSITION SUMMARY
The Licensed Practical Nurse position assesses and passes medication to residents, reports to physician any changes they have, reports to charge nurse, updates family members, and assists CNAs.
Essential Job Duties
- Administer medications to residents while following the 5 Rights
- Report any allegations of abuse, neglect and misappropriation to Director of Nursing and Administrator
- Report any change in condition to the charge nurse
- Assist CNAs with answering call lights and other responsibilities
- Update physicians, family members, etc. of change in condition as needed
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Must hold and maintain Wisconsin LPN license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification required.
- 1 years of related work experience preferred.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.
