Job Description
The Assistant Branch Manager will be responsible for assisting the Center/Branch Manager in the daily operation of staff. This includes preparing work schedules, assisting with bank balancing, staff meetings, customer care, and concerns. The successful candidate will also be responsible for controlling security video processes as directed by policy and upper management. Additionally, they will assist in delivering quality customer service through personal contact with customers and prospects, and adherence to approved quality standards. They will be accountable for achieving monthly new account production as assigned by upper management. The Assistant Branch Manager will also work closely with the manager to motivate staff to achieve retail and new account production. In the absence of the manager, they will manage the branch. They will conduct training for new hires and provide bank services to a diverse customer base, including a large Spanish-speaking population. They will also complete other tasks as assigned by the manager, including opening and closing the branch.
