Teller (On-Call)

We are hiring an On-Call Teller to join our Vermillion team. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and good work ethic. Candidate must support and engage in First Dakota’s culture for exceptional customer service. Has the ability to process a variety of transactions accurately and efficiently. The candidate must have the capability to maintain strict confidentiality, attention to detail and comply with all Bank policies and procedures. The ability to effectively communicate with various types of clientele, co-workers and departments to resolve an assortment of needs is required. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in a team environment is essential. Hours will vary. Work schedule will be within the hours of 8:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday, and 9am-12pm on Saturday. All hours worked will be on an as needed basis, working as little as 2 hours, up to 8 hours per shift. In addition, will cover staff absences on a short notice. This is not a seasonal position, candidate must be available to work year round.
Job Duties
  • Receives checks and cash for deposit
  • Cash checks and pays money from customer’s account
  • Promotes and cross-sells other banking products and services as appropriate to customer’s needs
  • Provides ongoing relationship servicing with customers to maintain goodwill and gain additional business
  • Removes deposits from, and counts and balances cash in, ATM and night depository
  • Responds to customer inquiries and requests regarding account or additional services
  • Informs and advises customers of status or enhancements to current account or service, and suggests resolution on account disputes and other account activity
  • Attendance - regularly designation work shift required
Qualifications

Punctuality is a must.

Education/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Customer service and cash handling experience preferred.

Work Environment

Office: The work environment of this job includes interacting with others in an office setting, and the noise level is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

Physical Demands

Medium: The physical demands of this job include bending, sitting, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
