We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at task prioritization.
Job Description
- Conduct Research: Use various online and internal title plant programs to review Iowa county records.
- Order Management: Create new files for incoming orders and ensure accurate order entry.
- Administrative Support: Perform basic tasks such as scanning, uploading files, and typing.
- Title Examination: Learn and assist with the title examination process, including:
- Understanding abstracts and chains of title.
- Analyzing how liens and encumbrances impact title.
- Applying the rules for creating Iowa-specific abstracting products.
- Data Entry and Documentation:
- Enter new orders and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare and review Iowa Title Guaranty’s and Certificates.
- Generate search product reports such as 900/901s and Reports of Liens.
- Customer Service:
- Handle incoming orders over the phone.
- Address customer inquiries about order status, revisions, and other needs.
- Communicate with clients to gather information necessary for real estate transactions.
- Additional Responsibilities: Support various tasks as assigned.
Experience/Education/Skills
We are looking for candidates who bring a combination of education, relevant work experience, and technical abilities that align with the responsibilities of this role. Key qualifications include:
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in data entry.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.
- Previous experience in title research, customer service, or a related field is a plus.
