Software Engineering Interns at First Databank will have the opportunity to gain experience and demonstrate aptitude across a variety of real world projects. Interns typically rotate between three or more projects during their time at FDB, where each project requires skill in a different area.
Responsibilities :
Typical projects may include work in the following areas :
Web Development
Mobile Development
Web API development
SDK development
Desktop Application Development
Cloud Infrastructure Automation, AWS and Azure
Database Development, both RDMS and NoSQL
Data Science / Business Intelligence
Trouble Shooting / Bug Fixes / Unit Testing
Opportunity to utilize AI agents
Requirements :
Computer Science or Software Engineer Major
Completion of Junior year
Minimum GPA – 3.4

In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in San Francisco, CA. The reasonable estimate, $22 / hr. Please note this information is specific to those hired in location. If this role is open to candidates outside of location, the compensation range would be aligned to that specific location. A final decision on the successful candidate’s starting compensation will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.
