First Division Consulting Inc. (FirstDiv) is hiring for Senior Physical Infrastructure Specialist to support a Department of the Navy (DoN) customer in Dahlgren, VA. Position is contingent of successful award of contract. FirstDiv provides high-quality, professional services to government and commercial sectors. FirstDiv is hiring a Senior Physical Infrastructure Specialist to assess, configure, and maintain technological infrastructure systems to ensure they meet requirements. Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the development, operation and maintenance of physical infrastructure.
- Six (6) years of professional experience in relation to installing and maintaining fiber optic, coaxial and twisted-pair cable plants, and associated software.
- Qualified experience with various network protocols, test equipment and diagnostics.
- BICSII ITS (Information Technology Systems) Installer Level 2 (Copper and Fiber) certification.
- Secret Clearance Required.
Salary at FirstDiv is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $160,000
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light to moderate lifting may be required.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.
