Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the dental office.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized front desk environment.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services and procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Process patient payments and manage insurance claims efficiently.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth office operations and excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a dental office setting, preferably as a receptionist
- Strong patient service and communication skills
- Proficiency in medical administrative support and office management
- Familiarity with dental terminology and Open Dental
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical records management
- Competence in using multi-line phone systems and Microsoft Office applications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
