The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of retail banking professionals, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth through strategic business development initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and develop a team of branch staff to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Manage branch operations, including scheduling, employee performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow deposits, expand customer relationships, and drive sales opportunities through outside selling.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and cross-selling bank products and services.
- Maintain accurate records, secure control of vault inventories, cash, and other negotiable items, and ensure the branch remains in compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations.
Requirements
- Responsible to the Regional Branch Manager for the fulfillment of duties assigned.
- Will have contact with customers and public.
- Ability to manage branch-banking personnel engaged in retail operations to achieve profit, growth, and customer service objectives within bank policy guidelines.
- Previous experience in retail banking, sales, and staff management preferred.
- Requires sound knowledge of established procedures, methods, and practices, and extensive knowledge of customer base.
- Good sales and computer skills, and a proven ability to develop business opportunities are necessary.
- Should be analytically minded and possess good judgment.
- Must demonstrate sales, management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain relationships within the business community including participation with community organizations and community projects.
