Position Summary:
Performs routine administrative tasks in support of day-to-day commercial loan processing. Maintain and verify proper perfection of collateral.. Performs variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures and commercial loan documentation. May need to provide administrative support to Commercial/Ag lenders on occasion.
Duties:
- Assist loan personnel with loan document preparation; research, etc. as needed
- Produce and distribute various departmental reports; distribute departmental courier items and mail
- Prepare non-real estate secured loan documents – research loans and collateral
- Prepare and track mortgage releases
- Track collateral exception documents and verify receipt thereof
- Maintain ticklers. Follow-up for missing recorded items in e-recording website
- Ensure schedules and deadlines are met
- Scanning duties, as needed
- Be knowledgeable of loan documentation and regulation
- Assist commercial loan staff as needed, including various administrative tasks
- Quality control for Loan Document Archive Specialist
Relationships/Qualifications:
- Responsible to the Commercial Loan Processor Supervisor for the fulfillment of functions assigned
- Will have contact with customers and bank staff on a regular basis
- Accuracy and attention to detail is required
- Clerical background in loans preferred, basic accounting knowledge
- Ability to multitask and stay focused
- Must show strong initiative and organizational skills
- Strong communication and phone skills, confidentiality and basic computer skills are desired
- Experience with software systems such as Navigator, ComplianceOne, Microsoft Office, and Director preferred
