What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Servicer position at First Farmers Bank & Trust?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Be an integral part of the Loan Servicing team while building relationships with lenders, loan support staff, and customers. Manage and accurately book all loan types on the bank's core processing system, adhering to regulatory compliance and bank procedures. Perform file maintenance as requested or necessary.
DUTIES:
1. Handle customer inquiry calls in the Loan Department
2. Assist bank employees with making tickets, account maintenance, codes, and ensuring data integrity throughout the life of the loan.
3. Perform maintenance on loan accounts, codes and ensuring date integrity throughout the life of the loan.
4. Process payoff requests; both internal and external
5. Accurately book all loan types
6. Maintain a high level of attention to detail
7. Balancing of internal accounts
8. Assist with audit or reviews of loan files and servicing needs
9. Process and assist with all UCC tasks including but not limited to continuations, amendments, and terminations
10. Research and review non-post loan payments
11. Process and mail notice and statements, maintaining tracking if necessary
12. Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
RELATIONSHIPS/QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Responsible to the Loan Servicing Manager for the fulfillment of duties assigned
2. Will have contact with the customers and co-workers on a regular basis
3. Accuracy and strong attention to detail is required
4. Strong communication and phone skills, confidentiality and basic computer skills are desired
5. Previous experience in Loan Servicing or related financial service roles highly desirable
