What You'll Do:
As an Associate Construction Loan Officer, you'll be supporting our construction loan operations by delivering excellent customer service to both prospective and current customers. You'll assist in managing the construction loan process, ensuring smooth communication between clients, builders, and internal teams, and providing vital support to our Construction Loan Officers. From initial client interactions to loan closings, your contributions will directly impact the success of our clients’ projects—and the growth of our community.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Building Relationships: Work closely with our Construction Loan Officer to expand our network of builders, suppliers, and designers. Represent the bank at construction and barndominium events across the country, and strengthen connections within the industry.
- Client Interaction: Screen prospects, conduct follow-up calls, and provide guidance throughout the loan application process.
- Project Management: Maintain tracking systems to ensure timely, accurate loan processing from start to finish. Assist with pre-approvals, document reviews, and assessments to ensure clients' plans align with our bank's guidelines.
- Social Media & Marketing Support: Leverage social media to help spread the word about our services and build our presence in the barndominium community.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work with loan processors, underwriters, and other bank departments to ensure smooth loan operations and timely closing.
What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for Serving Others: A strong desire to help individuals achieve their homeownership dreams.
- Experience & Skills: While banking or lending experience is preferred, we’ll also consider candidates with relevant business development or sales backgrounds. 3-5 years of loan officer assistant or processing experience is ideal.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with software systems like CRM, Excel, Encompass, and Power BI to keep everything running smoothly.
- Attention to Detail: You’ll need a keen eye for reviewing financial documents, project plans, and other critical materials to ensure compliance with bank guidelines.
- Team Player: A positive, proactive attitude that helps you work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners alike.
