- Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information to assess borrower eligibility.
- Maintain detailed records of all loan transactions and communications throughout the processing cycle.
- Ensure compliance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations during the loan processing phase.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their loan status.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and documentation management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in loan processing or related roles within a bank or financial services environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with loan origination systems and underwriting processes is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of TILA regulations and Fair Housing laws is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Proficient in using computer software for data entry and document management.
