Specific Responsibilities
The Customer Relationship Associate (Teller) is responsible for:
- Receiving checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifying amounts, examining checks for proper endorsement, and entering deposits into computer system.
- Cashing checks and processing withdrawals; paying out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
- Receiving loan payments and ensuring the payment has been processed correctly in the computer system.
- Performing a variety of maintenance transactions, such as account holds, stop payments, savings bond transactions and address changes.
- Balancing cash drawer at end of shift and reporting any discrepancies to supervisor as necessary.
- Answering basic debit card and internet banking questions.
- Demonstrating knowledge of all financial services to promote and cross-sell bank products and services.
- Answering phones and responding promptly and effectively to inquiries.
- Effectively utilizing Learning & Development tools and resources.
- Ensuring the teller station is properly stocked with forms, supplies, etc.
- Reporting issues with the computer system and other equipment used at the teller station.
- Understanding the importance of and following bank policies and procedures.
- Handling confidential information and documents to ensure customer privacy.
- Demonstrating accuracy, punctuality, and preparedness.
- Demonstrating problem-solving skills.
- Attending to the needs of existing and prospective customers. Ensuring customer concerns are addressed in a timely manner.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good computer skills and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to operate office equipment, including computer, calculator, copier/fax and scanner equipment.
- BASIC knowledge of debits and credits. Ability to multi-task and adapt to change.
- Successful completion of in-house training program.
- Ability to travel to various FFCB Financial Centers as needed to ensure adequate staff coverage.
