Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor and troubleshot end user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices and networking hardware products.
- Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis and resolution of complex PC problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repair as needed.
- Organize, develop and maintain an inventory of all monitors, hard drives, modems, printers, scanners and other peripheral equipment.
- Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding PC and/or hardware problems with a positive attitude.
- Perform all job duties and maintain compliance with all banking acts, laws and regulations applicable to your job function.
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly and other maintenance procedures as directed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in cross-training other I.T. employees.
- Train employees in office software and applications.
- Install wiring, equipment, and organize for aesthetic appeal.
- Write knowledge base articles and documentation.
Qualifications Required
(Required education may be satisfied by experience and/or working knowledge)
High School diploma or equivalent. One year experience in an IT support role.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Sitting for extended periods of time, requires close visual acuity and the ability to work and operate computer applications and equipment including copy machine, telephone, scanner or other basic business equipment. Driver’s License and travel required as needed. Periodically required to perform manual work, lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Occasional weekend or after normal business hours work is required.
Qualifications Preferred
Associate degree in information technology or related. Experience supporting an I.T. help desk in a Microsoft-domain environment. CompTIA A and/or Microsoft MTA Certifications.
