Job Description

Scope/Contacts
The incumbent will work directly with multiple agencies to verify and maintain account information. Incumbent must have excellent organization skills. The incumbent is responsible for providing accurate, timely, and compliant verifications.
Essential Functions
- Maintain records for a reasonable period, not less than any applicable recordkeeping requirement, in order to substantiate the accuracy of any information about consumers the Bank furnishes that is subject to a direct dispute.
- Participate in all activities related to the furnishing of information to consumer reporting agencies while adhering to internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the information provided.
- Conduct reasonable investigations of and respond directly to all credit report disputes in a timely manner. Must adhere to internal policies as well as industry standards and regulations when responding to all disputes.
- Delete, update, and correct information in the Bank's records, as appropriate, to avoid furnishing inaccurate information.
- Research accounts and provide accurate, timely responses to all verification requests, including by to, verifications of mortgages and verification of deposits.
- Comply with applicable requirements under the FCRA and its implementing regulations.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned by Credit Reporting Manager and Compliance.
- Actively participate in the Customer Service First sales and service culture, support the values of the organization, and follow established Bank policies and procedures.
- High school graduate or equivalent certification with 18 months of administrative experience is required.
- Knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act rules and requirements and knowledge of Consumer Data Industry Association Metro 2 Format preferred.
- The incumbent must have a working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat software. Familiarity with other features of Microsoft’s Office suite of applications will be helpful.
