DESCRIPTION:
First Financial Group is seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality financial planning services to our clients. This Financial Planner role involves developing customized financial plans and managing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial planning and a client-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement tailored, comprehensive financial plans for clients, addressing their unique financial goals and needs.
- Conduct detailed financial analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for clients.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain and enhance client relationships by presenting comprehensive financial plans and providing continuous financial advice and support.
- Ensure all financial planning activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the financial planning process.
EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years of experience in financial planning within a wealth management or financial planning firm is required.
- B.A. or B.S. degree preferred; finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
- FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 (or 66) licenses are required.
- CFP designation is preferred or the ability to obtain it after the date of hire.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, etc.) with extensive experience in utilizing multiple CRM databases.
- Demonstrated experience using financial planning software such as Financial Planner Suite, MoneyGuidePro, eMoney Advisor, etc.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Client-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

- Compensation: Base salary starting at $72,261, commensurate with experience, plus performance-based bonuses.
