Location: Within one hour of a First Flight branch (Headquartered in Wake County, NC, with branches from Cary to Eastern NC)

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Operations Specialist I to join our dynamic operations team on a part-time basis. This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of various operational transactions, contributing directly to the smooth functioning of our organization and the satisfaction of our members. This is a hybrid position offering the flexibility to work remotely after a successful training period and upon achieving a satisfactory level of competency.
What You'll Do:
As an Operations Specialist I, your primary responsibility will be the processing and posting of operational transactions. Your specific tasks will be determined based on the department's current needs and your prior experience. You will also be responsible for additional operational duties as assigned by your supervisor, which may include providing backup support to colleagues and performing account maintenance.

- ATM and Cash Management
- Accounts Payable
- Account Services
- Monthly Reporting
- General Operations Tasks
- Serve as a backup for other team members as needed.
What You'll Be Accountable For:
Accuracy of data entry and adherence to First Flight policies, procedures, and all applicable federal and state regulations.

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and members.
- Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate figures and amounts.
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various formats.
- Knowledge of accounting software, database software, internet software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods and use hands for computer operation.
Occasional standing, walking, and reaching.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
