What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodial Maintenance Technician position at First Flight Storage?
Job Summary:
Perform required custodial and minor maintenance functions and other duties as
assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Complete walk thru inspections on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to ensure storage units and parking spaces are clean, safe, secure and ready for rent. Ensure fence line is safe and secure.
· Expectation is to spend one hour at the storage facility on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If additional time is required report to owner before spending extra time.
· Perform minor cleaning and daily maintenance tasks: including sweeping interior areas, and picking up debris to maintain curb appeal and provide a positive customer experience.
· Perform move out checklist.
· Check storage units for locks.
· Monitor the physical condition of the facility and report maintenance requirements to the owner.
· Pick up and remove small to medium sized trash. Report large trash items to owner.
Skills and Competencies:
· Communicate effectively, including texting, sending photos, efficiently and accurately.
· Confidence to work with minimum direct supervision.
· Ability to interface with onsite customers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Professional presentation and appearance.
· Able to perform light maintenance and clean-up tasks.
· Able to lift up to 40 pounds, bending, reaching above shoulder level.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Successful background check.
