Role : Responsible for establishing and maintaining appropriate components of an information security program to assure information assets are adequately protected and information risks are managed appropriately. Recommend policies and standards that direct security functions relative to information technology systems, networks, applications, voice and data communications and computing services within the Credit Union.
- Direct information security operations including incident response, security monitoring, security design and architecture.
- Coordinate activities of external third-party resources involved in information security monitoring and testing including penetration testing and vulnerability scans.
- Provide subject matter expertise on a broad range of information security standards and best practices, such as NIST, PCI, ISO 27001, and others as applicable.
- Supports the implementation of new technology products and services by participating in product evaluations, rollout plans and systems testing..
- Actively participate in NCU-ISAO on behalf of FFCU.
- Interacts with regulatory agencies on Information Security matters.
- Work with the Chief Financial Officer to prepare and present relevant information on security status to the SMT and Board of Directors.
- Member of Information Security Committee, Incident Response Team.
- Coordinate development and maintenance of Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan.
Experience & Skills Required : Five years to eight years of similar or related experience. Experience in security policy development, metrics capture and analysis, security education, application vulnerability assessments, risk analysis and compliance testing.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
