Child Care Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. This role involves engaging with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The Childcare Provider will work closely with families to ensure the well-being and growth of each child.

Duties

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Implement behavior management techniques to foster a positive environment.
• Provide care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and soothing.
• Plan and conduct educational activities tailored to preschool-aged children.
• Support the needs of children with disabilities by adapting activities as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all children.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other childcare staff to ensure consistent care practices.

Experience

• Previous experience in childcare or caregiving is preferred.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques is beneficial.
• Experience working with children of varying ages, particularly in infant care, toddler care, and preschool settings.
• Ability to educate children through play and structured activities.
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies is a plus.
• A passion for working with children and supporting their development is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
