3D/4D Ultrasound Specialist

First Glimpse Ultrasound, a Woman owned business, is seeking a talented Elective Ultrasound Technologist, who will be using ultrasound equipment to provide high quality images and keepsake memories to women of all gestations for multiple offices in Colorado.

Starting pay is $17-22 hr based on qualifications and experience. This position offers the opportunity for growth and advancement.

This position is part-time with afternoon/evening hours and rotating weekends.

Our main office is located in South Colorado Springs.

Job responsibilities include:

• Prepare and clean the scan room for ultrasounds
• Use sonographic equipment to obtain images, evaluate the images for their quality, interpreting what the image captured
• Explain the ultrasound procedure to clients in order to avoid confusion
• Report to the appropriate medical staff of any abnormalities that require immediate attention
• Manage patients and priorities and be able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
• Work under minimal supervision and cooperate with other team members
• Checking in expecting parents for appointments
• Answering the phone, takes messages as needed
• Processing payments
• Appointment scheduling using Google Calendar and Acuity Scheduling
• QuickBooks
• Organizes daily work schedule and performs related clerical duties as required
• Maintain files and records in a confidential manner
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Experience must haves:

• At least one year experience working in a medical office/field
• Impeccable attendance
• High School Diploma, or GED required
• Attention to detail including; spelling, punctuation and grammar
• MAC operating system experience
• HIPAA experience
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Flexibility in job duties
• Office machinery including computers, fax, calculator, and photocopier
