Job Title: FOH Supervisor/Lead-Nights

Location: Deadwood, South Dakota

Reports To: FOH Assistant Manager

Indirect Report: Kitchen Manager/Food & Beverage Director

Status: Non-Exempt

The role of a FOH Supervisor is to supervise and coordinate the entire front-of-house team and ensure the client receives a warm welcome and that service runs smoothly.

• Delegate tasks to the team and provide follow-up.

• Assist servers with serving guests when they need assistance in keeping up

• Perform deposits at the end of the night.

• Close registers, ensuring tills are balanced.

• Schedule flexibility is a must as this position requires some AM and PM shifts.

• Communicate with the assistant manager consistently.

• Assisting the assistant manager with vending inventory and ordering.

• Discuss, plan, and implement new policies with the Assistant Manager.

• Basic understanding of or the ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety.

• Basic understanding of or the ability to learn food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures.

• Must be able to workdays, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.

• Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.

• Must frequently immerse hands in water.

• Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment.

• Prolonged periods of standing and working in a kitchen.

• Exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold present in a kitchen environment.

• Manual dexterity to cut and chop foods and perform other related tasks.
