First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Business Analyst II to join the Application Services Team. In this role, you will responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of existing, new or enhanced computerized systems and business processes. Review business and application processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Creates test plans and conducts testing for application software changes and/or new releases.
Compensation
The annual pay range for this role is $64k - $82k/year; commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00PM; hours may vary.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, related field; or equivalent work experience required
- 1 year of professional experience in applications support requried
- 5 years’ Business Analyst experience supporting financial institution mainframe or client server applications preferred
- Knowledge of the financial services industry (e.g., retail, mortgage/loans/deposits and wholesale banking) preferred
- Knowledge of mainframe or client server applications preferred
- Business Analyst certification from a well respected organization (e.g., IIBA) preferred
- Knowledge of the financial services industry (e.g. retail, mortgage/loans/deposits and wholesale banking)
- Knowledge of the system development life cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and team building skills and manage conflict
- Skill in understanding and focusing on the business unit needs, establishing credibility and building relationships with business units
- Ability to plan, organize and budget
- Possesses attention to detail with excellent follow-through
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
