We are currently seeking a relationship-focused, highly analytical, results-driven Corporate Banking Associate to be a key member of the Corporate Banking Division Team.
As a Corporate Banking Associate (“CBA”), under the direction and guidance of Corporate Banking Officers, assists in the management of moderate to large and/or complex credit and deposit portfolios as the primary means of gaining the skills and experience necessary to become a Corporate Banking Officer. The CBA manages multiple tasks simultaneously and produces quality work products in abbreviated timeframes. This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation:
The annual salary range for this role is: $50,000 - $80,000 per year; commensurate with experience.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent experience which includes sufficient accounting skills to enable proficient reading and understanding of complex financial statements including SEC form 10-K.
Two years of credit analysis, commercial banking, or other commensurate bank experience with proven ability to communicate clearly in written form and meet deadlines.
Five years of credit or other relevant banking experience, a portion of which includes relationship management preferred
Clear understanding of the considerations that form credit decisions and the credit process preferred
Working knowledge of depository and treasury products frequently used by large, corporate customers preferred, required at Officer Level.
Knowledge of credit structures and other considerations (including terminology) frequently used in nationally-syndicated loan transactions preferred, required at Officer level.
Master of Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
