Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Hours may vary)
Compensation:
The annual salary range for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year; commensurate with experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business-related field, or equivalent work experience required
- One year of analytical experience, including but not limited to analyzing transactional data, financial reports or incident reports required. Experience with SOX testing, or quality control assessments are beneficial.
- Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Solid understanding of bank procedures, products and processes
- Knowledge or experience relating to workflow analysis and design and policy and procedure development
- Relevant experience with operations, risk, compliance, legal responsibilities relating to financial sector
- Familiarity with concepts of operational risk, asset management product lifecycle, and risk or control functions (e.g., credit risk, compliance, operational risk, audit, finance, controllers, or second line of defense)
- Must be organized, detail oriented, accurate, and follow through when reviewing numbers or preparing documents
- Oral, written and interpersonal communications with the ability to present risk finding clearly and effectively to stakeholders, boards and committees is essential
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret source data and assess potential impacts, risk trends, or reasonable conclusions that can be supported with documentation is essential
- Must be inquisitive, and know how and where to obtain information to assist with analysis
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to priority effectively in a multi-tasking environment and meet multiple deadlines with quality results
- Ability to build rapport, establish relationships and collaborate with team-members and stakeholders across the enterprise and facilitate in-depth discussions relating to risk management
- Able to handle confidential information judiciously
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio, and Access)
- Must be naturally inquisitive, and know how and where to obtain information to assist with analysis
- Must be thorough and comprehensive, as well as being able to evaluate a great deal of information, and draw conclusions
- Able to handle confidential matters judiciously
- Able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines and possesses good time management skills
- PC skills in Word, Excel and Internet required
